Moral Story | Cats and Monkey
Once there were two cats in a village. The two were also very good friends. They did not get food properly for several days. Both were very hungry. Then they thought that they should find food together.
Both of them started searching for food together. Even after going to many homes, they could not find anything to eat. Both started getting very frustrated. Then a cat said that this is the last house left. If food is not found here too, today we will have to go to bed hungry again. And then both of them went to that house. But today luck was good. One of them saw a bread there. But the bread was kept at some height.
But the two got together and got the bread from there. And came out of the house and came under a tree. Then one of the cats got lured. As soon as the second cat said give me my bread, the first one refused. And said this bread is mine.
What was it then, the two cats fought amongst themselves. Both started shouting, this bread is mine, this bread is mine. A monkey sitting on the tree was watching everything. Something popped into his mind. He came down and said to the cats, "Hey! Hey! Do not fight. " You two are good friends, why do you fight with each other. Bring, I divide this bread into equal parts, then both of you eat it.
Having said that, he divided the bread into two halves. But one part got a little bigger. So he said, "Hey! This became a big part. Let me equal it now. " Having said this, he ate a small portion of bread. By doing this, this part is now reduced. So he said, "Hey! Now, this part becomes bigger. Let's just make it equal. " Then ate some bread from it. While doing so, he ate whole bread.
The cats were watching everything, but by the time they understood something, the monkey had eaten all the bread. As soon as the bread was eaten, the monkey immediately climbed the tree and jumped and sat on another tree. Now the cats understood that the monkey had come to eat bread instead of solving their quarrel. The monkey took advantage of their quarrel. Both cats remained hungry even after working so hard. And started regretting it a lot.
Story Summary:
Many times we sit in our small greed with our big losses. And they waste their years of hard work. Our greed and mutual quarrel gives the advantage to a third one.
To see an example of this story in real life, you can try to put some countries in place of monkeys. For example: America or China. Now you must have seen many cats already.
Many times we consider stories in books just a story. But we forget that the stories written in books are inspired by someone's real experiences.
It may be that nothing has happened to you yet. But nothing like this can not happen to you in future or it cannot happen at all. Thinking like this would be a mistake.
