Goa - Every Youth Group's Desire

About The place:

Goa is the name, which excites the youth by its name only. And everyone says “Go Goa Gone”. It is not really as shown in the movie, like zombies and all, but the life in Goa is totally different.

Goa is situated in the coastal area of Konkan region and on the bank of Arabian Sea. It is known for its mind-blowing landscape, beautiful beaches, Casinos, Water Sports, Historical monuments and churches and never-ending Goa nightlife. Goa is one of the most attracting, happening and most visited tourist places in India, especially if you are within the radius of 500-600 Kilometers; it becomes favourite weekend’s destination, as it is not very far from Mumbai and Pune.

Panaji is the capital and Vasco da Gama is the largest city for this small state. People not only from India but from all over the world come to Goa to admire and feel the sense of beauty of nature and life.

     

Estimated cost per Person:

Cost may vary based on your location and if you are living in Mumbai and Pune, you have to spend lesser than a person living in Delhi. I am living in Delhi and I spend around INR 16000 while my trip. It Included Air Ticket, Stay, Food and every other thing. As we were a group of 8 friends, so we hired a 2 BHK apartment which was much cheaper than 3-4 star Hotel.

Let me tell you frankly, you will only sleep in the room otherwise you will be enjoying every time out there on the beaches and Shacks.

If you are adding backwater boat ride and Dudh Sagar visit in your trip then it will add rupees (2500+2500) 5000 each. 

So the normal cost for the trip is nearby INR 16000 (except backwaters & Dudh Sagar), but there is no limit on spending so the budget may increase.

Trip Duration:

The best time to visit Goa is between October to March. Advisable trip duration should be at least 4 days if you want to check out white sand beached in south Goa.

How to Reach:

 Goa is well-connected with all the means of transport like Air, Rail and Road.

 Air:Goa Airport at Dabolim is an international airport connected with all major cities in India and other countries. And it is 29 Kilometers far from Panaji.

Indian Railway: Vasco Da Gama& Madgaon are famous Goa Railway station, which links all major cities to the northern coast and southern coast. But if you are going to stay in North Goa then leave the train at Thivim Railway Station which is near to North goa.

Road: Frequent and regular bus services are available from Mumbai and Pune to Goa.

Should do:

·        Do your bookings in advance. Please book your stay and tickets in well advance.

·    While enjoying water sports like Jetski, Banana ride and all do not risk your and others life unnecessarily. Follow the instruction carefully this may help you save your life and others too.

·        If you are in Goa, Do famous Night Parties and spend at least one night on the beach.

·   Take scooty instead of car; it feels amazing riding scooter on the roads of Goa. Make sure the condition is good of the vehicle which you have chosen.

·        If you are nonvegetarian, you are in a paradise of Seafood but if you are a pure vegetarian then you have to taste Biryani a lot.

·        Experience Casino but not play a lot.  

·        Enjoy a day in any shack on the beach.

Should not do:

·        Do not carry many things with you except phone and some money while going for water sports, avoid carrying wallet.

·        Do not drink so much that others have to carry you.

·        Goa is blessed by nature and has lots of beauty so please try to keep it clean. Do not throw your waste here and there on the beach or in the sea.

Proposed Itinerary

If you are planning for backwaters and Dudhsagar then spare two separate days for each and start your day early in the morning otherwise you will mess-up all your plans.

  

If not then no proposed itinerary for Goa, Go where ever you want to go, whenever you want to go and enjoy every moment there.

Check List

·        If you are going by your car, please check all the documents are complete.

·        If you are going by train then please carry travel kit along with you as it may take more time than planned.

·        Don’t forget to bring your swimsuit.

Goa is one of the most famous place near Mumbai and Pune to be there on the weekends with the family and friends.
